chocolate & pear overnight oats

It seems that I am not the only person loving overnight oats at the moment so here is another recipe combination to add to your repertoire!

Pears are one of my favourite fruits in winter so I am using them a lot in my cooking and baking. They pear with chocolate so beautifully (see what I did there?) so, this combo was a no brainer! 🍐🍫

This recipe serves one but you can easily double it so you can make one for a friend or have a couple of them ready to go for yourself!

recipe (serves 1)


ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • 3/4 cup milk (almond, oat, rice)

  • 2 heaped tbsp Greek yoghurt

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tbsp cacao

  • 1 tbsp almond butter

  • 1 pear (any type), grated

  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)


method

1. Simply mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl and then evenly distribute into two bowls or glass jars (if you’re taking it on the go).

2. In the morning, top with fresh berries, granola, cacao nibs or whatever else you desire! It’s as easy as that!!
